“ Came here in a large group and boy did we have a blast! I was concerned at first with the amount of people combined with time mixed with money ratio but everything worked out great. Definitely feel like I got my money's worth of throwing axes around that's for sure. Instructors were great, informative and fun. We did not eat but the food looked great. I would strongly recommend this place to go out and have a fun night. ”

“ I booked a private lane for my moms birthday and had a blast! Wayne was incredible and helped all of us so that we could have a successful axe throwing experience. Not only was he a great teacher, he was a fabulous bartender and was very attentive while also multi tasking to get his other tasks done. Great selection of drinks, clean environment and professional. Very impressed and will be back again! ”
“ Came on a Thursday and had the place to ourselves which was fun. Our host was great also. The ONLY complaint is that many of the reviews show off food. They stopped the kitchen during covid, so don't plan on dinner here. We door dashed dominos though, so not a problem. ”
“ My family went axe throwing for my dad’s birthday, and everyone loved it! Booking and payment were fairly easy. The liability waiver wasn’t working on the website, but I called and they clarified that they changed the system to in-person forms. The email confirmation was a little outdated/confusing, but again, I called & the staff was super friendly & helpful. Wayne, our axe throwing coach, was great! He was fun, confident, and knowledgeable. It’s nice that there is a full bar in the facility - we ended up hanging out at the bar for a while after we finished throwing to watch some of the other throwing lanes. It was so unique & fun - overall I would definitely recommend Lumber Axe, and we will be back! ”
“ Went here for a bachelor party and what a great time it was. Bartenders were great. The atmosphere was great. We had so much fun that we got to call after we left to make sure that the tip was right since it was a bit high lol. If you want to have a good time, check this place out. ”
“ Great food and unique interior. Plenty of good seating to watch axe throwing if that's your thing. 2 pool tables upstairs with a nice lounge area. Food was great as was the service. It really doesn't look like much from the outside (looks like warehouse). So I was surprised how huge the interior was. Plenty of beer on tap (including Iowa craft beer) and big screen TVs. ”
